Rear Chassis Leg Replacement Panel Kit - Evo 4-9

Sadly as Evos have aged the weak points have revealed themselves. One of the most affected areas for corrosion is in the rear chassis legs. Over time the corrosion which starts from the inside will manifest itself to the point there will be a hole around the toe arm mounting point typically. Once they get to this stage what you can see on the outside is the tip of the iceberg. Replacing the legs is a skilled job but there are many bodyshops and specialists that will take on this type of work, and once completed and internally treated your pride and joy should be good for many years to come!

Our kit includes both left and right side legs, they are Evo 9 part number, but can be fitted to evo 4-9 as shape of the panel is the same throughout. The only difference being on Evo 4-6 the bracket for the exhaust muffler is on the opposite side. It is a simple job to either remove and re-weld the bracket on the other side or simply remake the bracket from some round bar.

Many customers opt to replace the cross member at the same time. These are listed as an option in the tick box above.
Please pick the correct one depending on the type of diff you have, the crossmember for an RS car or a GSR with RS diff fitted is different to GSR with AYC diff.
