DriveShaft Shop: AUDI 1997-2002 S4 B5 1000HP Complete Front Axles
The S4 Front Axle Bar Upgrade. The factory inner and outer CV are made from a very strong material, but the axle bars are very brittle with machined steps that create concentrated stress points that are prone to failure especially with higher horsepower.
This axle upgrade includes a pair of our aerospace grade torsional axle bars and inner CV’s, and upgraded CV internals to upgrade the factory outer CV’s to use the larger spline bars.
In order to perform the upgrade, you must send in a set of factory axles (must be a factory axle, not an aftermarket one) and we will fully inspect and shotpeen the CV’s assemble them with the new bars and internals. Please call the office and ask for an RMA so we can take down all your information and give you a job number so the work is handled properly. Once we receive your axles the process usually takes about 3-4 days.
