Two basic types of limited slip differentials are available depending on application and purpose:
1. Type-RS Low initial torque type using RS springs.
2. Type-MZ Initial torque created by cone plates.

- Cusco LSD will work when the slightest torque is applied.
- Better transfer of power from the engine to the drivetrain with minimal loss of power.
- LSD chattering is kept to a minimum.
