Artec: Toyota 1JZ-GTE VVTi 3.5 V-Band Downpipe
Designed to be the highest flowing stock-frame downpipe available for the 1JZ VVTi platform.
The 1JZ VVTI is a great sounding engine, but is held back with its factory exhaust system, restricting both power and the aural pleasure the short stroke 1JZ produces. The OEM downpipe is known to create significant post-turbine back pressure and our new downpipes were designed to open this up properly, reducing restriction and allowing the engine to deliver improved response, power and a more authentic JZ exhaust tone (Note: we always recommend a full 3.5” exhaust system on any performance-focused JZ build).
